What We Believe

As a conservative Anabaptist/Mennonite congregation we promote obedience to Jesus Christ and all of His teachings as recorded in the Word of God, the Bible.

Word of Life Covenant

Word of Life Covenant is an agreement made by all members at Word of Life Mennonite Church. It includes some very basic and important commitments to God and the church, as well as some of our core beliefs about what church life should look like.

Word of Life Scripture Standards

Word of Life Scripture Standards is a compilation of Scripture verses that summarizes many of our beliefs. As a Bible believing church, God’s Word (the Bible) is our final authority. Whatever it says, goes.

Biblical Mennonite Alliance

As a member congregation in the Biblical Mennonite Alliance, we uphold the basic doctrines and practices that are required of all BMA congregations. This includes the Position and Policy Statement, and the 1963 Confession of Faith.

Divorce and Remariage

Modern American culture is ignoring many of the principles of God’s Word. God teaches in His Word (the Bible) that marriage is to be one man and one woman for life. At Word of Life it is our goal to honor God’s Word in all areas, including marriage.

To see what God’s Word teaches about divorce and remarriage, read this excellent article by Alan Roth, “Do Divorced and Remarried Persons Need to Separate? Adultery: An Act or a State?”
